Staging Under the Right Email: How QuickStage Ties Credits

QuickStage credits belong to the email you pay with. Set up one address for trial, purchase and staging, and fix mismatches with our troubleshooting table.

By QuickStage Team7 min read

QuickStage has no usernames or passwords: your credits, staged photos and plan all belong to one email address. Credits land on the address you type before checkout, and they only apply when you stage under that same address, so the fix for almost every "where did my credits go?" problem is to use one address for the free trial, every purchase and every upload. Pay-as-you-go is $1 a photo and monthly plans start at $19.99, and either way the balance follows the address.

This guide walks through setting that up once, then covers what to do when the addresses already don't match.

How does QuickStage connect credits to an email?

Every QuickStage balance is stored against one address. Three things key off it:

  • Your credits. When you buy, the address you entered goes to the payment page, and the credits are added to that address once payment clears.
  • Your photos. Results are delivered to the address on the upload form, and your library on My Photos opens for that address.
  • Your sign-in. Instead of a password, QuickStage emails a one-time link. Clicking it proves you can read that inbox, and that browser stays signed in for 30 days.

QuickStage ignores capital letters and stray spaces, so Jane@Brokerage.com and jane@brokerage.com are the same account. Gmail gets one more rule. Gmail itself ignores dots in the part before the @, and anything after a plus sign is a tag (Google explains the dots rule here). QuickStage reads Gmail addresses the same way: jane.doe@gmail.com, janedoe+listings@gmail.com and janedoe@googlemail.com all reach one account.

Other providers don't get that treatment, because their alias rules vary. jane.doe@outlook.com and janedoe@outlook.com are two separate QuickStage accounts with two separate balances.

The One Address Rule: set it up in 6 steps

We call this the One Address Rule: one email for trial, payment, staging and sign-in. Here's how to set it up from the start.

Step 1: Choose the address you'll keep

Pick the inbox you'll still be reading a year from now. For a solo agent that's usually your work email. If an assistant or teammate will stage photos too, think about a shared office inbox now (more on that in the troubleshooting table). Avoid throwaway or temporary-inbox services: QuickStage blocks disposable addresses with "Please use a permanent email address to continue."

Step 2: Use it for your 3 free photos

Your first 3 photos are free, with no account and no card. Type your chosen address into the email box on QuickStage's upload form, under the line "Results delivered here. No account required."

QuickStage may ask you to confirm the address before the free photos run. Click "Email me a sign-in link", open the email and click the link. It works once, expires after 15 minutes, and sends you back to the upload form.

The form also checks spelling. If you type gmail.con or outlok.com, it stops you with "That email looks mistyped" and suggests the fix before any credit is used.

Step 3: Pay with the same address

When you buy credits or a plan, enter the same address before you go to payment. That address is where the credits land, and for pay-as-you-go purchases the payment receipt goes there too. If you run out partway through an upload, QuickStage sends you to checkout for the photos you're short, already filled in with the address on the upload form.

Pay-as-you-go is $1 a photo with no subscription, up to 50 photos per purchase. Monthly plans start at $19.99 for 75 photos with QuickFix re-dos included, and the annual Agency plan works out to about $0.11 a photo, billed yearly.

Typing an address into a payment form doesn't prove you own the inbox, so QuickStage signs you in only through a link sent to it. If the purchase created a brand-new account, the "Start staging photos" button on the payment confirmation page signs you in right away. After a first purchase, the welcome email to that address also includes a sign-in link that stays valid for 7 days. Click one of them on the device you'll stage from.

If you skip both, nothing is lost. The next time you stage, QuickStage asks you to confirm the address with a one-time link, and your balance is waiting once you click it.

Step 5: Stage under the same address

The payment confirmation page says it directly: "Enter the same email you paid with, then click Stage." On a browser where you've signed in, the upload form fills in your address for you. On a new laptop or phone, type the same address and confirm with a link when asked.

Each photo comes back in about 30 seconds, on screen and by email. Label staged photos as virtually staged before they go on the MLS.

Step 6: Find photos and manage your plan under that address

Every photo you stage is saved to your library. To see it from any device, sign in to My Photos with your address and click the link we send. Managing a subscription (card, plan, cancellation) also needs a signed-in session for the address the plan is on.

Troubleshooting: when the addresses don't match

What you see What usually happened What to do
I paid but see no credits You're staging or signed in under a different address than the one you paid with (often a dot, a typo or a second inbox) Find the address your payment receipt or welcome email went to and stage under exactly that one. If the address matches and the credits still aren't there, email support@quickstage.io from that address with your receipt
I used a different email for the trial The trial credits and the paid credits are on two separate addresses Each address keeps its own balance, and the app has no way to move credits between them. Use any leftover trial photos under the trial address, then stage everything else under the paid one. To ask about combining them, contact support from both addresses
A teammate needs access A balance belongs to one address; the app has no separate team logins Anyone who can read that inbox can sign in, so a shared office inbox lets a team stage from one balance. Otherwise your teammate uses their own address, with their own 3 free photos and their own credits
The sign-in link never arrived Links only go to addresses that already have QuickStage history, or the email landed in spam Check spam first. Then make sure you typed the address you used before. Each address can request up to five links an hour
"That sign-in link expired" or "was already used" Sign-in links last 15 minutes and work once Request a new link and click the newest one
"That email looks mistyped" The domain is a known misspelling, like gmail.con Accept the suggested fix; no credit was used
"Please use a permanent email address" The address is from a disposable-inbox service Use your work or personal email instead

For anything the table doesn't cover, such as a change of brokerage email or a mix-up that spans several purchases, contact support at support@quickstage.io from the address on the account. We can't promise every request has a fix, but writing from the right address saves a round of back-and-forth.

What changes if you switch email providers later?

Your balance and library stay on the old address. To keep using them, keep access to that inbox long enough to sign in when asked. If you're leaving a brokerage whose email will shut off, use up your credits first, or contact support before the old inbox closes.

On Gmail, switching between dotted and undotted versions of your address, or adding a +tag, changes nothing: it's the same QuickStage account.

Bottom line

QuickStage ties everything to one email: credits go to the address you entered before payment, photos go to the address on the upload form, and sign-in is a one-time link sent to that inbox. Pick the address you'll keep, use it for the 3 free photos, every purchase and every upload, and most credit problems never come up. If two addresses already split your balance, stage under the one with the credits and contact support from both addresses about the rest.

Try three photos free on QuickStage with the address you plan to keep: no card, results in about 30 seconds.

Frequently asked questions

Which email do my QuickStage credits go to?

The address you enter before you go to payment. Credits are added to that address once payment clears, and they only apply when you stage under that same address.

Does QuickStage have a password or account to log in to?

No. Everything is keyed to your email address. To sign in, QuickStage emails a one-time link that expires after 15 minutes, and the browser you click it in stays signed in for 30 days.

Are jane.doe@gmail.com and janedoe@gmail.com the same QuickStage account?

Yes. QuickStage reads Gmail addresses the way Gmail does: dots and +tags before the @ are ignored. For other providers, only capital letters and spaces are ignored, so a dotted and undotted address are two accounts.

Can I move credits from my trial email to my paid email?

There's no way to move credits between addresses in the app. Use leftover trial photos under the trial address, or contact support@quickstage.io from both addresses to ask about combining them.

Can my teammate use my QuickStage credits?

A balance belongs to one email address, and anyone who can read that inbox can sign in to it. A team that wants one balance can use a shared office inbox; otherwise each person stages under their own address.
